ANDREW T. SULLIVAN

Andrew obtained his LLM in Taxation from New York University School of Law in 2011.  Prior to attending NYU, Andrew graduated, magna cum laude and in the top 5% of his class, from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. Andrew served as an Senior Editor of the Loyola Law Review. While serving on law review he authored: Transfering Wealth: Holman v. Commissioner of Internal Revenue Retains Hope for the Family Limited  Partnership Despite Continuous Attacks by the IRS, 55 Loy. L. Rev. 207 (2009). He also received the designation of William L. Crowe Scholar at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law ( an honor bestowed upon students finishing in the top 10% of their class). Andrew also received the Distinguished Law Review Candidate Award and the Law Excellence Award in Advanced Federal Income Taxation and Taxation of Corporations.

Andrew received his bachelor's degree in Accounting, summa cum laude, from Louisiana Tech University. While attending Louisiana Tech he was designated the Outstanding Senior Scholar; he was also a member of the honorary societies of Beta Alpha Psi, Beta Gamma Sigma, and Golden Key International Honor Society.

Andrew's practice will be focused on corporate, partnership and transactional matters with an emphasis on federal and state taxation.  With his extensive educational background in accounting and taxation he will provide additional support to the firm's estate planning, business planning and oil and gas practices.
