Courtroom:

Ayres, Warren, Shelton & Williams is the first firm in north Louisiana (and possibly in the state) to construct its own in-house courtroom.  Why would we have a courtroom in our office?  First, clients and witnesses need to be prepared for questioning on a witness stand, and there is no substitute for sitting on one and being cross-examined by a lawyer in the role of opposing counsel in the case.  Second, at the option of a client, a case may be more thoroughly evaluated by our conducting a mock trial with a small sample jury.  A sample jury provides valuable insight into the manner in which a client, witnesses, evidence, arguments and even the lawyer trying the case will be perceived.  Professional teams understand the importance of a preparation match.  Our trial lawyers, acting as a team, also understand the value of testing a case before an actual trial.  Simply put, there is no better way in which to be completely prepared than by a trial run.
