Courtroom
Ayres, Warren, Shelton & Williams leads the way in north Louisiana by building its own in-house courtroom. Why would we have a courtroom in our office? First, clients and witnesses need to be prepared for questioning on a witness stand, and there is no substitute for sitting on one and being cross-examined by a lawyer in the role of opposing counsel in the case. Second, at the option of a client, a case may be more thoroughly evaluated by our conducting a mock trial with a small sample jury. A sample jury provides valuable insight into the manner in which a client, witnesses, evidence, arguments and even the lawyer trying the case will be received. Our trial lawyers, acting as a team, also understand the value of testing a case before an actual trial.
